First visit to Tony Roma's

First visit to Tony Roma’s

I have heard of Tony Roma's for ages now but didn't get a chance to try it out when I was in Penang. Therefore, after I moved to KL, one of the first places that I told Saucer I wanted to go was Tony Roma's. And sure enough, we paid this restaurant a visit within my first month here. :) Lucky for us

All about Bak Kut Teh

Sometimes when the weather is rainy or on the cold side, I would crave longingly for a pot of hot bak kut teh. On one such day, when I was in PJ, I asked Saucer where to get bak kut teh, and we did some blog-hopping and found this place right in SS2 itself. It was just so near Saucer's place so we d

Bravo Italiana still a long way to go

After reading about Bravo Italiana from Penangtuapui.com, I, being a big fan of Italian food, was looking forward to visit the restaurant some time soon. The opportunity presented itself when the kind Penangtuapui was giving away 20% discount vouchers to its readers who want to visit Bravo Italiana.

Delicious Strawberry Chicken at G Hotel

It's the end of the year and the season of merriment! Apart from that, it's also the season for wedding dinners for lovebirds. :) Recently, my ex-coursemate Melvin held his wedding reception in a new swanky hotel called G Hotel in Gurney, Penang. Since we have already finished our Masters course in

My delicious home-cooked meal

Earlier this month, I went back to my hometown and spent some time with my family shopping. I know what you're thinking now, what is there to shop in the small town? Well, we only went to the brand new Tesco Kampar, which is pretty much the most popular hangout place right now. *LOL* Anyway, my mom

Noodles and cakes

Chiaoju and I planned to meet up for dinner one fine day, but we were out of ideas where to go. In the end, we decided to visit a relatively new restaurant in E-Gate called Noodle Station, simply because it's situated in the middle of both our homes and we had not tried it before. The place was rath

Cookout session

About a month ago, Bamboo and I planned to have a cookout session whereby we could 'show off' our cooking skills. Apparently his legendary honey chicken was to die for. Since both of us did not have a proper kitchen, we kindly asked for dory's kitchen to be used as the competition ground. Haha... I

A taste of Thailand in Prontip

Just a few weeks before Saucer left, we went for an impromptu Thai dinner at a random restaurant. It was a Sunday, after his classes as usual, and we were heading to town to eat. Several suggestions came to mind but were not appealing enough, until I suggested Thai food. Then it occurred to us that

Ristorante Bella Italia and its legendary Tiramisu

Hello people! I guess it's high time for a food review! :) Comfort food does not count okay... :P I went to this place called Ristorante Bella Italia a few weeks ago with a good friend. From the name itself, it's obvious that it's an Italian restaurant, and a good one at that too, I must say. This p

Random reviews of food

I went to TGIF in Queensbay Mall 2 weekends ago and ordered my usual Cajun Fried Chicken Salad. I think I'm absolutely addicted to this salad! The portion is really huge too, so even though it is just salad, it can definitely fill my tummy for the longest time. Best of all, it is also healthy! :) Oh
