My Experience at Eastin Hotel Penang

A few weeks ago, I followed Saucer to Penang for his company trip. It was about 3 months since my last visit there so I was really looking forward to it! Not to mention, this round we would be staying in the relatively new Eastin Hotel, just next to the Queensbay Mall of Penang! *shopping* :)

Eastin Hotel Penang

We initially wanted a Standard Sea view room with a King-sized bed but they only had twin beds available. So they suggested that we take the Club Deluxe Seaview room instead, which had whatever we wanted. :) I think the Club Deluxe room is pretty similar to a Standard room just that it’s situated on the Club level and we had Club lounge benefit. :)

The comfortable king-sized bed

The bed and duvet were so very comfortable! The sheets were smooth and crisp white, and the pillows were made from down and were most heavenly. It was a delight to sleep on it every night. ;)

The room had all the amenities that we need. A flat screen LCD TV, a study desk, coffee-making facilities, bath robes, toiletries and complimentary internet access (broadband and wireless).

Each room is given a passcode for internet access which is unique to one device only. So if you have more than one device to be connected to the wireless internet, you’ll need to request for extra passcode.

Coffee-making facilities

All of the facilities above are actually pretty standard for a hotel room, but we had one extra benefit staying in a Club Deluxe room. We had access to the Club Lounge all day long until 10pm! Also, if we go there between 5-7pm, they also had some finger food and drinks available. On other hours, we could always go there for fruit juices or to read the papers.
