Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe Ramadan Special and more
After sampling the Ramadan Special Set, we had a taste of some of Garden’s signature dishes. Surprisingly, some of their dishes are really affordable, especially the pastas! The Oven Baked Cod Fillet was served warm, with smooth and soft meat that was well-flavoured.
Oven Baked Cod Fillet (RM39.90)
The Grilled New Zealand Rack of Lamb was pleasantly juicy and tender, perfect with some burnt crust on the outside. Yum!

Butter Ginger Dory Fish (RM16.90)
If you fancy steak, the Grilled Prime Aged Sirloin Steak might just be the right choice, with tender meat locked with its juices. I loved the black pepper gravy that went with it!

Moving on to pastas – my favourite! It was hard for me to decide which was the best because all of them were so good in their own ways! Take for example this Spaghetti Carbonara, which was something that I usually wouldn’t order because it’s too rich. But Gardens made it taste fantastic! It was not overly rich, slightly creamy and very fragrant. It was so good that I had second helpings of it!

The Spaghetti Aglio Ed Olio with Shrimp was more like something that I normally order and it was also delicious with fresh and succulent prawns and al dente spaghetti. The generous use of garlic on top of the spaghetti gave it an aromatic finish that was hard to resist.

Spaghetti Vongole came in green colour, due to the pesto sauce used. It’s just amazing how well they do their pastas, for even the simplest topping could make it taste so good.

Of course, the experience was made much better with the presence of my girl friends!
I would definitely return to Gardens Lifestyle Store and Cafe again after finding out that their prices are pretty reasonable and the pasta is great, not to mention the romantic ambiance and cute pianist! *LOL*

The place looks so very nice…and the food looks equally good. I love this kind of Malaysian/Indonesian food. RM69.90 for two is really very reasonable…especially for a place like this.
