Our Postgrad Convocation
31st of July 2010 marks a significant milestone in my life. It was the day I received my second scroll! For those of you who read my blog when I was still in Penang, you would have known how I struggled with part-time studies and how I detested Fridays. 
Oh well, thank God that it’s all worth it! At last, at last, I could say that. The convocation session was held in no other than Multimedia University (MMU) in Cyberjaya. To make things sweeter, Saucer happened to graduate together with me! His with a MBA and mine with MEng.
MMU 11th Convocation
We had to be there by 7am that day, so we had to wake up at an ungodly hour of 6am! All of us with our panda eyes. *LOL* We’re not allowed to take any pictures in the hall, so all the pictures below were taken when the ceremony was over. Goodness it was over only at 12.30pm, which meant 5 hours of no food! Pity my parents and grandparents who just had some bread to start the day with. They told me they couldn’t even walk properly after sitting flat on their butts for 5 hours!

One thing that I have to say, it was SUPER hot to take pictures outdoors. Quoting Khaled Hosseini, “the sun was hot like a branding iron”, and it was! Imagine underneath that heavy robe, I was wearing a long sleeve shirt AND a blazer! As if that wasn’t bad enough, the sun was being so cruel and we couldn’t help but sweat profusely.
