Ordering my first Coach bag
In my previous post, I shared about my discovery of Bagskaki, a blog shop that sells branded bags at much lower prices. After browsing the site for hours on end, I decided to place an order with Bagskaki! I compared the designs that she had on hand, as well as the ones from Coach official website, and it was so difficult to decide! And I finally did something to help me decide better. I dragged Saucer along to the Coach store at Gardens, Mid Valley, to have a first hand feel of the bags available! 
And of all the bags there, both Saucer and I thought one of them suited me the best. Guess which one?

Which one did I choose?
Tadaa! It’s the Coach Poppy Signature Sateen Hobo! I saw the real thing at the Coach store and tried it on a few times, and I fell in love with it! I told Saucer that’s the one I would be getting, and thankfully he didn’t seem to disagree. So I noted down the design and style number, and emailed Bagskaki about it.

I like one with Silver/light khaki/chalk colour, which is the exact colour shown in the photo above. The photo below shows a closed-up look on the same bag in Gold colour.

I like the fact that the bag has two exterior pockets, which would come very convenient for me! I would place my phone in one pocket and my keys in the other! God knows how much time I spend searching for keys in my handbag every day. *argh*

Bagskaki replied to my email inquiry within one day and informed me that the price was RM1,170. But she’s such a friendly and nice girl that after some negotiation, I managed to get it down to RM1,150. Granted, it’s still more expensive than the listed price in US dollars, but Bagskaki absorbs all charges from taxes, custom (up to 20% of the cost!), delivery from the US and delivery to our door step! So, adding all those cost in, I’d say it’s still reasonable.
BUT, she told me the colour I wanted was already out of stock, and suggested another option for me, which was Silver/light khaki/rose! When I saw the picture, I didn’t have to think long. I mean, it’s pink! *LOL* Plus, this colour wasn’t sold in the Coach at Gardens, so it makes me feel a little bit more exclusive.

Once I agreed with the colour, I had to pay her a 50% deposit before she could confirm my order. The waiting period is two weeks, so I’m not patiently waiting for my lovely bag to arrive to the shores of Malaysia! Oh, before I forget, I actually did a comparison of the price offered by Bagskaki with the price at Coach, Gardens. The Coach store at Gardens is selling the same design at RM1,675! That’s more than 30% discount people! Again, I’m so glad I discovered Bagskaki.

Don’t like the pink. Your original choice was nicer! The two buttons look like puppy-dog eyes… LOL!!! So many compartments – can remember where you put what or not. Like my missus, wants to look for something…has to dig and dig and dig, take everything out…and then remembers it’s in another bag! Women! LOL!!!

How can one be sure this website sells genuine Coach bags? If you purchase off season Coach bags in the US, it’s way much cheaper. Like buying Bonia. But of course the flight ticket cost a few thousand ringgit already. If you have friends going to US, get them to buy for you there.

Well Bagskaki provides Coach care card and receipt with their bags. That’s why I have full confidence with them.
You’re right, I can’t deny that purchasing off-season Coach bags from the US outlets are much cheaper, but many of us don’t have the luxury (like me 
) to fly to the US. Hence Bagskaki is the next best thing.
I like the original color better too. Not a fan of pink
@STP- of course we ladies needs a lot of compartments. Not enough compartment sure things will go missing.
