Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles
If you remember well, Saucer LOVES pan mee! So when we had the chance to sample a relatively new noodles store in Kota Damansara, he immediately agreed to it! Courtesy of Sidney, we had the chance to try out home made noodles made by Aunty Lan.

Home made Winter Melon Lemon Ice (RM3.60 -hot/RM3.90 – ice)
Before the food was served, we had some drinks in the form of winter melon lemon tea and ginseng tea. The ginseng tea was definitely memorable, as the taste was strong but not overpowering, and instantly perked up our senses.

Honey Ginseng tea (RM4.90 or RM8.90/2pax)
As for food, the Dry Curry Chicken came with rice, and reasonably so, because the curry was very appetizing! And you could see that the amount of oil was minimal, as compared to other curry that you usually get.

The home made tear noodles here were more to the thick and chewy side. Pretty interesting!

My favourite would be the tom yam flavoured soup. It was really spicy but very aromatic. I couldn’t help myself from drinking the soup. I think Xin enjoyed the soup very much too! *LOL* This is a recommended dish!

Southern Tomyam Laksa Noodle (RM14.90)

Deliciously spicy and hot
If you don’t like spicy, fret not, the Sweet soya sauce village chicken noodles may be the one for you. It uses Village chicken ok, so you can be rest assured of eating healthy instead of farm-bred, chemically laden chickens. The chicken was braised well and turned out to be tender and juicy. I love!

For something more soupy, Aunty Lan has fish head noodles too! As typical KL fish head noodles go, the soup was prepared with milk in it. The resulting soup was fragrant with slightly sour taste. And no fishy smell! Bravo!

Cantonese fish head meehoon (RM8.90)
For snacks, we chose the prawns fried egg with chives. Look at the amount of chives used! And the size of the prawns. Make no mistake, we could SMELL this dish even before it was served! It was amazingly aromatic.

Chives fresh prawn fried with egg (RM6.90)
Home made bean curd will never go wrong with me for I love ‘foo chok’!

Home made bean curd skin (RM5.50/3pcs)
As for desserts, Aunty Lan has a variety of cheese cakes for their set menus.

Home made cheese cake #1 -Durian

Home made cheese cake #2 – Yam
The Chinese ball pumpkin dessert came with ‘tong yuen’ made from pumpkin, and a host of other stuff such as herbal jelly, sea coconut, ginkgo, etc in it. It’s basically the healthy version of ABC. Very unique!

Display of cute bracelets and key chains

100% no preservatives and no colouring
Aunty Lan Home made noodles prides itself by preparing food with no preservatives and colouring, hence you can enjoy guilt-free food here. I would most definitely return again for the tom yam noodles and healthy ABC!
