Carven Ong’s Spring/Summer Collection
I had the privilege to grace the event of Carven Ong’s 18th Anniversary and Graduation Gala 2009 last week and boy, was I amazed! Firstly, it was my first time attending a fashion show, and secondly, I was impressed by the creativity of the Carven Academy of Fashion students! Really, some of them proved to have international standard designs, in my humble opinion. The future of Malaysian fashion has hope! Thanks to Carven Ong.

In between the shows, we were entertained by Soo Wincci, a former Miss Malaysia who turned into a singer. She performed a Chinese and Malay song, which turned out to be pretty flawless! I see a future of singing in her.

It was such a fun activity to attend, and an eye-opening experience too! Carven is awesome!

Yea surprisingly not bad… never out of tune and quite strong vocal.

Yea.. there were quite a number of official cameramen hired by Carven Ong himself, I think. Not to mention bloggers’ cameras too! So I ended up looking everywhere… LOL Thanks for the compliment! *perasan*

Yes it was my first time seeing in person a real fashion show. It’s quite fun to watch the models walking down the red carpet, and seeing their poker face expressions!
