I’m Addicted to the Olay Game!

A few days ago, I received a comment from KimOng, telling me that I was tagged in one of her blog post. I quickly clicked on the link to find that I was tagged for a game! That sounded fun! So I quickly went to register myself at www.findfairness.com/game and soon, the addiction got into me. *LOL* Registering was just a piece of cake, taking no more than 2 minutes. The game itself, however, took more time to master. I was quite lost at first as to what I should do, but I eventually got the hang of it, and wouldn’t let go until my score was at least higher than Kim’s. *competitive*

There are actually 6 mini games within the Olay site. Once you start the game, you can see the map of Paris, divided into 6 different places. I have circled and labeled the places for your convenience.

Click on any one of them, for example the Shopping Mall, and you’ll be transported in front of a shopping mall with Parisians walking around. Feel free to click on any of the people walking to get tips on achieving fair and healthy skin. After that, click on the La Promenade link to start playing (it will load the mini game).

Let me give you a screen shot on how the game for Shopping Mall looks like:

See that girl on the left column walking? She’ll walk non stop up and down the same column, until you click on any of the tiles to give her directions. You can make her go Up, Down, Left or Right, depending on the direction of the tile (continue clicking to change direction) to direct her to the alphabets on the tiles. The girl walks pretty fast so you need to click on the tile fast enough to give her the correct direction before she bypasses the junction. And for this game, my highest score was 532 only. I’m sure many could do better. *LOL* I shall leave you to figure out the rest of the games. They’re pretty fun and entertaining.

2. Restaurant

I quite like the restaurant game, you just need to find the hidden words in a puzzle of letters, much like those puzzles you did when you’re a kid. I did reasonably well for this. (My definition of reasonable is above 1000)

3. Metro

In Metro, you’re supposed to use your keyboard arrow keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) to direct the walking girl so that she would avoid conditions that would damage her skin such as smoke and the strong wind.

4. Super Market

This was a fun game too! There are 3 racks of supermarket items for you to choose from, and you’re supposed to click on the item that is required by the game, as shown on the bottom. The trick is you’re supposed to scroll left and right to switch between the racks to get the required items.

5. Party House

This game is sort of like Bubbles, where you need to get 3 or more same items on the same row for them to disappear. However, the difference here is that you get to switch position of the items to get the Three of them aligned.

6. Park

Finally, this game is similar to the dance game except that instead of using your feet, you use the keyboard arrow keys. I couldn’t do well in this game because towards the middle, the arrows kept coming simultaneously and at such high speed that I didn’t have enough fingers to press all of them together! *LOL*
